Colorado Springs scores defense contractor expansion

Nooks, a company that’s veteran owned and offers “classified spaces as a service,” will expand in Colorado Springs, officials with the state and Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC announced today at the Space Symposium.
Nooks plans to create 35 net new jobs at an average annual wage of $165,942, roughly 276 percent of the average annual wage in El Paso County. The positions will include site leads, security, and IT specialists, the state said in a release.
Nooks will open its third and largest national location here, offering flexible access to classified facilities and associated networks for use by industry and government partners, the release said.
